Art really does do amazing things. Musical masterpieces program.…This is from my partnership with @pbsymphony .. I put forth a program of creative sessions with @azulfashionartdesign .. we turned #decommissioned #instruments into works of ART! They were donated by the symphony. First session was #paint, second session was #embellishments and #fashiondesign led by @sightofstina .. Everything turned out spectacular. This was the culminating evening and we were rewarded with a spectacular show by the #symphony. #Art #arttherapy #artteacher #artist #GiveBack #collaborate #community …Consider donating to these institutions.

Great weekend.. started with hosting an #artist #tour @nortonmuseumofart and met lots of great #artlovers… then #studio day trying to mock up a #tshirtdesign to test my new #printmaking set up. #fail LOL… decided to burn the mock up instead. Stay tuned though.. #custom #prints and #tshirts on the way. Then on to #experimenting with #oilpainting on #wood.. started with big rough #pink #paint #bodymechanics .. alas #flamingos appeared.. so… going down that road I guess. #Fauxwood door “refresh” @pbcatch ! Back to my roots.#fauxfinishing is one of the first things I did after art school. Some small #repairs, fresh #primer, #basecoat, #gelstain #clearcoat and some other random #touchups throughout the restaurant #artist #designer #problemsolver… looking ahead, in order to keep the door from getting damaged in the same manner I sourced some clear plastic (polycarbonate ) To install in the most abused area. Looking forward to seeing how it holds up.
